Semi IA- means Semi Inactive. For Yugy and that ship, it means the ship's is online occasionally, but less than a year offline between visits.IA- means Inactive. For Yugy and that ship, it means the ship's account is still active but they have not been online for year+.Deactivated- For Yugy and that ship, it means that the ship's account has been deactivated. As an admin, I will not end ships just because someone isnt around anymore.Archived- For Yugy and that ship, it means while the ship is not recognized as ended or over, writing has stopped. It implies that Yugy and that ship are living happily in their own little world together.Retcon- this stands for Retroactive Continuity. In RP terms, this means that any piece of a plot or whole plot cant be changed and no longer recognized by either partner. Aka- if you retcon a ship, it means it never happened, never existed, the pair doesnt know each other. Aka- if retcon RP children, it means the pair never got pregnant and thus never had a child, neither in the pair recognizes it.*Any ship that has formally broken up will be deleted from the ship list, not given any of these notations.*I rarely Retcon. I dont prefer to. I prefer to archive if ships end simply bc there's seemingly nothing left to write. If there's a formal break up, I do prefer the ship doesn't get retconned but it can under some circumstances to prevent either character from feeling hurt or pain of a break up. Archiving is still preferred, especially if there's RP children involved so that its implied the couple and their kids live happily ever after.
